We are committed to establishing long-term, open relationships with our suppliers, customers and partners – and work to ensure that to the best of our knowledge they also act responsibly.
We recognise that working in coffee origin countries can be a challenge. We look to encourage, support and promote a process of continual improvement within our supply chain and to provide practical solutions and assistance to enable change where we can.
We expect our suppliers, customers and partners to demonstrate a zero-tolerance approach toward exploitation and adhere to our Code of Conduct based on ETI base code founded on the conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as follows:
- Employment is freely chosen
- Freedom of association / staff representative
- Working conditions are safe and hygienic
- Child labour shall not be used
- Living wages are paid
- Working hours are not excessive
- No discrimination is practiced
- No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed
The majority of our suppliers have long-standing relationships with us, which gives us trust and confidence in their practices. We undertake due diligence when we are considering any new suppliers.
As a business with a strong focus on certified coffee, all of our Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance coffees already comply with a set of well-established social, economic and environmental standards obligatory to achieving these certifications. To help to adhere to this commitment, we follow the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct.

Sustainability and the Environment
As a business our mission is to continually develop a sustainable, progressive and open approach to coffee. Being a pioneer for certified coffee and ensuring we can understand and minimise our impact on the environment throughout all our business practices is a key part of who we are.
Our environmental policy as a business focuses on every aspect from the farm through to our office and destination of the raw product. We continually look for new opportunities to reduce our impact on the environment.
