Nueva Granada is an estate that ranges from a low altitude of 1000masl up to 1600masl. The farm is located in El Tumbador San Marcos between the two highest volcanoes in Central America, Tajamulco and Tacana Both a little above 14,000 feet. Fainfall is abundant here with over 5000ml per year.
The farm covers 675 hectares, of which 50 are wild woods and helps the Rainforest channels so wild animals can travel throughout the plantation and visit neighboring farms. Aside from coffee, the farm also has planted 45,000 macadamia nut trees to use as shade trees for the coffee to improve coffee cultivation.
