COOPFAM

The Cooperativa dos AgricultoresFamiliares de Poço Fundo e Região – COOPFAM is a cooperative of small-scale farmers situated in Poço Fundo, southeastern Brazil. COOPFAM is a world reference in organic, solidary and agro-ecological agriculture. Currently it counts on 320 families of small-scale farmers from Poço Fundo and neighbouring regions, such as: Machado, Andradas, Campestre, OuroFino, Cambuí, Paraguaçu, Santa Rita do Sapucaí, São João da Mata, Silvanópolis, Natércia, Nepomuce no e Inconfidentes, all situated on the South of the state of Minas Gerais. All these families have already benefited from COOPFAM cooperative activities.
