Coope Libertad R.L.was established to provide freedom to its members – hence the name. Freedom to to make the necessary decisions the co operative needed to progress. The qualities to produce, the marketing chanels to take and whom and at what price to sell their coffee to. At present Coopelibertad has more than 45 coffee receivers distributed in the country with the main areas of operation of the cooperative in the Central Valley, Orosi Zone and Cachí, and Turrialba Area. The Co op has a long tradition of excellence and over 5 decades of operation has enabled it to be well established in the specialty coffee community.
