Addis Exporter was founded in 1972 and today is one of the oldest and most respected privately held coffee exporting companies in Ethiopia As founding members of the ECX, Addis Exporters source coffee directly from the Exchange. The coffee that is purchased is then brought to a centralised storage and processing facility where it is machine cleaned and further hand picked to ensure that only the perfect beans make it toto export and subsequently DRW. Rigorous cup tasting throught the journey the coffee takes from ECX to export ensures that each and every lot DRW receives meets both Addis Exporter and DRW exacting standards.
