Daterra Masterpieces 2021 Auction

The 2021 Daterra Masterpieces Auction takes place on the 7th December 2021. This year’s auction is inspired by the constellations perceived by the many different native peoples of Brazil. The auction highlights Indigenous knowledge and culture in Brazil, celebrating the diversity of the countries Indigenous people.

There are 15 individual lots available at the auction, each one with its distinctive profile and design.

How do I taste the coffee?

We receive one sample box of Daterra Masterpieces each year, which means we have limited sample material. The best way to taste the coffee before the auction is by purchasing a sample set directly from Daterra.

Each sample set contains 200 grams of each coffee and a coffee guide for the auction. Ikawa roast profiles are also available for each lot. We’ll also be tasting the coffee in our lab, so ask a member of the DRW trade team for more info.

Each year Daterra’s expert cuppers explore the farm’s harvest to discover unique small lots of coffee – the Daterra Masterpieces. 

These small lots showcase new and unusual varietals, processing methods, drying techniques and experiments. Each coffee has a unique cup profile and scores 88+, is fully traceable and planted and grown in a truly unique way.
