Description

Robusta cherries are picked by hand and follow two routes to the dry mill. One is via home drying often accompanied with hulling on the farm, the other is selling to either a local collector or direct to a collection point belonging to the dry miller.

Here coffee is thoroughly cleaned and separated in to its appropriate grades, going first through pre cleaners, magnetic cleaners and de-stoners before reaching the size grader and gravity beds.

The additional step of colour sorting turns this coffee in to the grade ‘clean’.
