Description

Las Nubes are the third generation growing coffee. Starting with growing Caturras, Pacamaras, and Bourbon, and discovering the Java varieties, they grow microlots from the farm looking to a niche customer who likes enjoy a very good coffee with the best quality profile.

In their own words “The biggest challenge that we had have during the last five years was the climate change, they are a factor that we cannot control or manage, and this factor caused many diseases to the plantation as rust, Ojo de Gallo, etc… ” Yet during those last five years, as well as working hard to keep on top of these issues, they have been developing better housing for our employees, kitchens for our employees, improving meal programs, free health centers as part of their social responsibility programs.

Harvested with their best staff and selected from the best cherries, the washed coffee is fermented for 24 hours before drying in African beds under shade for a period of 13 days. During this time, and as the coffee is turned for even drying any defects which are spotted are removed.

The parchment rests in GrainPro bags, before being processed under the highest standards of quality and cleanliness that characterize the process plant.
