Small and large producers contribute to this blend through one of Cooxupe’s regional collection centres after processing the coffee on the farm.
If the coffee cups well enough, it is passed through to SMC, Cooxupe’s speciality-focused subsidiary.
Here it is further cleaned and blended with other local farms to produce a regional lot characteristic to the ‘Vulcanico’ region around the spa town of Poços de Caldas.
