Brazil Daterra Blossom

Cupping notes

Raspberries and mango, nuts and honey like sweetness and lots of caramel in the finish. Jasmine and raspberry in the nose.

Description

A floral and light cup made from natural (dried on tree) and pulped (semi-washed) cherries.

Daterra blend two different processes to achieve a more complex cup with the best of both worlds: high sweetness with refreshing fruit notes. The aroma gives away the floral profile of Blossom -you’ll find jasmine and raspberries. On the flavour, more raspberries but also mango, nuts and honey like sweetness and lots of caramel in the finish.

Nick and I (Jamie) headed out at the end of July to Sao Paulo with a day to briefly recover and explore the nearby Ibirapuera Park. We’d be up at 5am Monday for the next leg heading up to Minas Gerais, a state divided in to four parts (Sul de Minas, Chapada de Minas, Matas de Minas, and Cerrado), and so begin our further education on the world’s largest coffee producing country.
